In my opinion knowing your worth means much more then whats on the inside… it is everything… how you allow others to treat you, how you treat others… how you carry yourself in EVERY situation, good or bad speaks volumes of who you truly are.

Sure we all love our lazy days… I love the days where I don’t put on an ounce of makeup and just lounge around the house. But lets be honest… this girl… is NOT leaving the house without a little foundation and a brow on!!  My girlfriend may think I am crazy sometimes… and she may be right… but MY reason is not for anyone else but ME!

Allow me to explain… When I apply my foundation it can give me a multitude of results, from dewy to matte, sheer to full coverage, or flawless and concealed. Depending on the occasion of course. I may not go “full face” to run to the grocery store or gas station… but I always MUST HAVE foundation!

Foundation helps to even out my skin tone, covers imperfections and ultimately gives me the extra boost of confidence I love when going out in public. I believe that everyone should always do what makes them feel most confident in life. For me it is a simple as filling in my brows and applying a little foundation. For someone else it could be wearing a tutu with every outfit. Whatever floats your boat right? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (YOU)!!

Here are just a few of my favorite inexpensive foundation products. Please feel free to share your favorites as well, I love trying out new products!!

#1 BareMinerals – BareSkin

The BareSkin foundation from Bare Minerals is my current obsession. It is light, beautiful and very easy to build coverage with. So if you are looking for light coverage it is perfect for everyday, even in these 115 degree days we get out here in Arizona. Also if you are looking for full coverage for a night out, or a special event just build on the coverage and the finish is perfection. It doesn’t look cakey or heavy at all! A MUST TRY for everyone in my opinion.

I have only been using it with the suggested brush (sold separately). I tried it with my beauty blender once and I didn’t love it as much as the Perfecting Face Brush (show in the image).

An important note would be to SHAKE very well before use and to only apply 2 drops at a time and then build the coverage 2 drops at a time from there 🙂

 

 

#2 Revlon – Color Stay Whipped Creme Foundation

The Revlon Color Stay Whipped Foundation comes in at a close second for me. It is my long day make up. You know those days where you are just on the go go go! It is long wearing and full coverage without feeling or looking heavy or cakey. I also love to wear it when I am getting “all dolled up” for date night or a night on the town. A MUST is my opinion!!

#3 L’Oreal – True Match – LUMI

The L’Oreal True Match Lumi foundation is OH SO beautiful. It helps to give a luminous looking finish and helps to keep your skin feeling hydrated though out the day because it is made up of 40% water. You know how some products feel like they are clogging your pores, not the L’Oreal True Match Lumi, it actually helps to improve your skins clarity and skin tone over time because its 3 key ingredients are Antioxidants Vitamins C and E! Now how FAB is that right?!

#4 L’Oreal – True Match (Original)

The original L’Oreal True Match foundation is fairly new to my collection, but I must say it has quickly become one of my favorites. That being why it made the cut for my top 5 inexpensive foundation must haves. This foundation is perfect for every skin type & skin tone. The line of True Match foundations comes with 24 different colors to match from and is formulated with “True Match Technology” so coverage can be controlled and fine-tuned making it perfect for everyone. I wouldn’t say that my skin is too sensitive personally but this foundation would be great for someone that does have very easily irritated skin because it’s formula contains no oils, fragrances, or pore-clogging fillers.

#5 L’Oréal – Magic Nude Liquid Powder

Last but not least, coming in at number 5 is this little gem! By this point you can probably tell that I really love L’Oreal and their line of foundation products. I am pretty sure I have tried them all! #GUILTY!! This product is my favorite for those days I mentioned in the beginning of this post… You know those days when you don’t feel like doing or wearing much makeup. The beauty of the Magic Nude technology is that it feels like nothing… truly!! I love to apply this foundation with my Beauty Blender, but after the application its almost as if the product disappears leaving your coverage feeling weightless. It still evens out my skin tone and gives a very sheer coverage but it is PERFECTION for those “no makeup” makeup looks.
